1) Where does my money go?

Because we are a Not For Profit Group and we are not funded/sponsored by anyone at this time, all money made goes right into the program. ALL staff members are screened volunteers.

Currently we are mainly an online cadet group, who meet in Winnipeg MB for community outings and events.

Everyone is charged $10/month to participate. This is for supplies, promotions, year end wrap up, etc.

Outings and events, such as The Firefighters Museum or YMCA-YWCA, may have additional costs.

The costs will be communicated directly to the cadets via email.

*Please note that money is due on the first Tuesday of each month*

Cadets will be required to participate in community events in order to advance to the next level.

Some events include visiting Fire Stations, YMCA-YWCA, Fire Museum etc.

2) If learning is done mainly online, how do the cadets learn?

We use a variety of platforms including Kahoot, worksheets, offsite outings etc

3) How do cadets get their supplies?

Any supplies needed for doing training (such as rope for learning their knots) will be sent to the cadets on the first Tuesday of the month.

Some supplies that cadets will receive during the year include (but not limited to);

Uniform shirt, ropes, binder, worksheets that need to be mailed back complete with stamped envelopes.

4) My cadet needs Kahoot Game Pins and/or passwords?

Any passwords and info needed for the month will be emailed on the first Tuesday of each month.

5) Can anyone use the Cadet Store?

Yes, the Cadet Store is now open to anyone. Please note that orders will only be processed on the first Tuesday of each month.
